Because the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the chance to apply for funding with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

"The application window will close on fifteen December 2024, and there are not many days left to submit applications. Suitable college students are urged to apply immediately to secure money guidance for his or her post-school education," Nkabane said.

Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper 3.

Nkabane reported this pivotal moment marks the culmination of several years of effort and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their examinations with dedication and assurance.

With Just over 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from across South Africa sit for this 12 months's matric exams, throughout South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the general public in the department's preparedness to administer the examinations read more effortlessly.
